Information collected through this website
If you use the contact form, I receive your name, email address and the information you choose to include in your message.
If you book a Discovery Call through Calendly, Calendly collects your name, email address, telephone number and any optional information you provide. Please avoid including detailed health information or other sensitive personal information in the contact form or Calendly booking form.
The website and its security services may also process limited technical information, such as your IP address, browser information and security logs, to keep the website secure and functioning correctly.
How I use your information
I use your information only to:
• respond to your enquiry;
• arrange and manage a Discovery Call;
• take steps you have requested before potentially working together;
• maintain the security and proper operation of the website; and
• meet legal or regulatory obligations.
The lawful bases I rely on are taking steps at your request before entering into a contract, my legitimate interests in responding to enquiries and running a secure website, and compliance with legal obligations where applicable.
I do not sell your personal information or use enquiry details for marketing.
Services that process information
To operate the website and respond to enquiries, information may be processed by:
• my website hosting, WordPress and website-security providers;
• Google, through Gmail and Google Calendar; and
• Calendly, when you use the online booking service.
These providers process information according to their own privacy terms. Some may process information outside the United Kingdom. Where this happens, appropriate safeguards required by UK data-protection law apply.
How long information is kept
If you make an enquiry or book a Discovery Call but do not become a client, I will normally delete the information within three months of our last contact, unless there is a legal reason to retain it for longer.
If you choose to work with me, my full Client Privacy Notice explains how I handle and protect client information. It is available to read here.
Other service providers may retain information for periods set out in their own privacy and backup policies.
Cookies
This website uses essential cookies required for security and basic operation. Further information is available in the Cookie Policy.
Your rights
Depending on the circumstances, you may have the right to ask for access to your personal information, request that inaccurate information is corrected, ask for information to be erased or restricted, object to its use, or request that information be transferred.
To exercise your rights or ask a privacy question, contact me using the email address above.
If you are unhappy with how your information has been handled, please contact me first so I can try to resolve the issue. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at www.ico.org.uk.
